A warm WELCOME – sorely needed on a rare cold Manly morning – to our new students. Having flown in from far-away places such as Czech Republic, Indonesia, Germany and Portugal they had to rug up on the balcony. Luckily the weather forecast promises warmer weather mid week …
Today we said farewell to Enrique who will be travelling north to study a few weeks at Lexis Byron Bay. That’s the beauty of the renowned Lexis flexibility, you can study AND see different parts of Australia!!
Today we said goodbye to Edwin from France. After three months with the Lexis Sydney family he’ll return to a Reception job at a big hotel in Cannes – during the Film Festival! How exiting, FIVE STARS for that, Edwin.
You’d like to study English AND you’d like to surf – but you are short of time. So what do you do? You book a week of English & Surfing @ Lexis Sydney. You spend the mornings in a classroom AND the afternoons surfing from Manly Beach. Brilliant choice, Eri, make the most of it!
A large international group of happy people, that’s what language schools are all about. This week we said goodbye to Saki (Japan), Sandra (Germany) and Igor from Russia. It has been so much fun having them in our school, best of luck for the future.
A big WELCOME to Koharu and Rafael who started with Lexis Sydney today – directly from Japan and Brazil onto the golden sands of Manly….
Call them serious students, call them leisure lovers, call them great friends… Call them whatever you like, it’ll all be true. Two happy & easy-going people – like all Sydney students, really. Sad to see them go, happy to have met them…
Leaving Lexis Sydney today and going on to other adventures were Victoria, Malte and Marc. A big THANK YOU from all of us, it has been a pleasure having you in our school!!
A famous saying goes that “every time you say good-bye you die a little”. And haven’t we done a lot of dying today in Manly… But hey, it was a happy day too! It has been so much fun being around these lovely members of the great Lexis Sydney family, we shall miss them big time.
So many new and exciting activities and workshops this month! Which activities will you join?
Today we had many students starting in Sydney, a big WELCOME to all. They threw themselves into testing & studying straight away; in fact so eager were they that only a select few had time to pause in front of the camera. Now that’s the Lexis spirit right there!!
Today saw the end of the toil for our FCE students. Exams are over, the hard work is sure to have paid off. Now go and celebrate! And for the CAEs, tomorrow is the day. BEST OF LUCK and do not forget: YOU can do it!!

What a stunning day for our walk and talk activity. The water is crystal clear blue at the moment and at 30 degrees outside and 20 degrees in the water that makes a perfect combination to work up a sweat and then jump in the water to cool off.
And here they are, Lexis Sydney’s Students of The Month for February 2019. CONGRATULATIONS to all nominees, well done!! No wonder you see happy faces right ‘round on these pix. Patricia put up a big smile, too, despite finishing her 7-month studies in our school. Sincere THANKS, Patricia, it’s been a pleasure having you here for so long.
Today we saw Natsuki leave the school, a happy student who will be missed terribly!! All the best, good luck, keep in touch with the rest of the Lexis Family.
With summer still hanging around it is a fantastic time for outdoor activities in Sydney. Our new students took a Walk & Talk tour to Manly’s Shelly Beach – and the Lexis Legends Futsal players began the 2019 tournament with an almighty 8-4 win!! A mixture of Spanish, Thai and Brazilian magic, what could possibly go wrong? Congratulations, guys, we look forward to next Monday’s match.
